Community Development
Neighborhood Organizations
The CJC assists residents and groups who want to form
neighborhood associations by providing technical assistance,
organizing help and ongoing support once the association has
formed.
Neighborhood organizations provide a forum in which residents
can address neighborhood issues and work to resolve neighborhood
problems while generally strengthening the social bonds
between neighbors and fostering a sense of community. These
groups generally meet monthly.

Equal Exchange Timebank
The Equal Exchange Timebank, located at the Community Justice Center,
is an online community of people who support each other by exchanging
services. When a Timebank member spends an hour doing something for
another individual or group, they earn a "time dollar." They can then
spend that time dollar to buy an hour of service from another member.
The Timebank connects unmet needs with untapped resources and builds
community at the same time. More information is available at www.equalexchangevt.org
or contact info@equalexchangevt.org
or call at 802-535-3387.
