Executive Director
St. Johnsbury Community Justice Center
St. Johnsbury, Vermont
The St. Johnsbury VT Community Justice Center seeks qualified applicants for the challenging,
full-time position of Executive Director. This position offers an unusual opportunity
for an individual with strong interpersonal, team management and organizational skills
to guide the development of this community-based program as it transitions to the status
of a 501(c)(3) organization. Utilizing trained community volunteers, the Justice Center
resolves low-level cases of crime and misconduct, assists individuals reentering the
community from jail with their reintegration, facilitates resolution of community disputes,
provides education and training in restorative justice and supports St. Johnsbury’s
neighborhood associations. Experience working with volunteers and in non-profit
management preferred. Familiarity with the criminal justice system, area resources,
and restorative justice a plus. Salary dependent on qualifications.
